In between thunderstorms these days, I’ve been going outside where the news is slow (Look, the gayfeather’s blooming in the meadow!), outside where I’m not worried what to do about the next thing coming from Washington, Raleigh or Europe, or now, I’ve noticed, China.
WOW! Wonderfully beautiful. Thank you for the stroll through the flower gardens! Each flower is so special with unique colors, shapes, smells and patterns. Gifts from nature. 🥰💐
I've got things blooming that haven't in YEARS! Surprise!
It is so inspiring, and enjoyable to look at. Birds all over the place, laying eggs and singing. Busy bathing in the bird bath, which gets filledf daily. A little one, and a big one. Little one is an old, big green glass ashtray, haha
Enjoyed your pics.
Love goosnecks. Have a large patch waiting for of them. They spread like crazy. So dainty.
Waiting for the Grandioso Begoniss to bloom. Red bottom leaves.
Cindy, it's so much fun to read about all the life in and around your garden. Yes, the birds! They are so busy. Right now we're waiting for bluebird fledglings to leave the birdhouse. By their strong voices when fed, it should be soon. Thanks for this beautiful stroll around your garden!
What a treasure trove of beauty, Deda! I cherish my garden walks and am enjoying surprise flowers from a Pennington Pollinator seed mix I broadcast a couple of years ago. Latest discovery is an obedient plant which WAS a butterfly magnet in previous years, but eliminated because it wasn't getting enough sun! It's now in a better location and about to bloom - it takes a lot of patience because it's a late bloomer. https://pbase.com/isabel95/image/163846198
Isabell, this link leads to a beautiful photograph, thank you! I really like your garden note, about patience, and that sometimes a plant wants to be moved,. Simple ways to enjoy a thriving environment. We can create that!
My favorite yet, Deda! What a peaceful scene your words and pictures evoked. And oh, that dahlia! ❤️
Beautiful summer flowers and lovely photos. Thanks for the quiet walk.
Beautiful!
Lovely, just lovely Deda...and I enjoyed all the comments that were so beautifully shared.
Lovely, Deda! Thank you!
Thank you, Deda!

Yes, nature's gifts, the rewards of being truly present!
Lovely pictures. They remind me of the many days we spent in North Carolina. It is a respite from the heat of southern Arizona.
I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures, Judy. From the news it seems you might be feeling more heat this year than usual. I wonder how your garden's doing.
WOW! Your flowers are looking good.
