Tuesday my doctor gave me a checkup. She said, “You have to exercise more. Do yoga, lift weights. Walk!” I could relate to her third option but my reply was unintelligible, something about “it’s uphill”.
Maybe I should not have checked the YES box next to “Can you walk two miles?” I meant, I could probably do that on flat ground.
Here’s the other thing. When you walk in early October it’s going to be slow. There’s too much to enjoy!
