Thanks for this Deda. My district is 113; Jake Johnson is currently my representative. I call his office frequently as I am appalled with most of his votes. I do tell him how I would like to see him vote but mostly I ask to speak with him. I want to ask him some of the questions you asked Mark Burrows. I would start by asking him what he thinks the purpose of government is. His actions suggest it is to enrich the few, protect the power of those already in power, and allow environmental degradation to benefit the wealthy. I will be voting for Michelle Antalec who is running against Johnson in the upcomming election.
Your comment is so enlightening. I haven't been following the news about Jake, but I'm not at all surprised by how he's been thoroughly absorbed into his party. It seems from what you say that he hasn't returned your calls. That says enough right there.
Thanks for this posting, Deda. Enlightening and uplifting!
Mark Burrows is a great candidate! We are fortunate to have him running for office. If voters are astute, they will definitely vote for him!
Linda, Mark has been canvassing throughout the county, meeting people from all walks of life, and making friends!
