With all the power at the local level, we must be concerned about the one and only political party now in charge of the school board. "All politics is local".....we must remain aware and vigilant. Thank you for this post, Deda, as it is very telling.

The fact that Southern Poverty Law Center's list of NC hate groups specifically names Transylvania Co. Moms for Liberty is chilling. It's also
(I hope) a signal to anyone who loves democracy to be more wary and alert about its and similar groups' activities.
