Yes, Linda, we both prefer thyme to rosemary, and I agree that blends more easily. My impression of rosemary is for meats such as pork, which we don't eat any more.
I think potatoes are an important part of garcdening in WNC. They take a lot of room but the payoff is well worth it. They taste better than store bought!
No help from anyone with my 2 gardens or the 5 dogs and house work. Luckly, I am strong a d able to take care of Paul, the & dogs shopping & the house. It all keeps me young. LOL can I post photo on this site of my gardens ? Both are small but productive.
Hi Deda, It looks like you got a good crop of potatoes. I don't grow them, but have good luck with cucumbers, tomatoes, zucchini, and green beans. My two small garden areas give us more than we need, so I am able to share with the family and neighbors. I love my garden!
Oh that looks very delicious. I love seeing the garden bounty and imagine tasting the yummy recipe. Thank you for the pictures. All AUTHENTIC goodness.
Sorry dear, That's not thyme. That's rosemary..♥️
Yum!
Like finding easter eggs!
AH THE HUMBLE POTATO...my favorite food! And actually I prefer thyme to rosemary. Thank you for a delightful and informative postcard, Deda!!
Linda, you're right. My first Comment on this post this morning was from Sam who wrote:

I need to have him proofread my posts before I publish them! I'll have to correct it on the next post.
.....do you prefer thyme to rosemary? I do, as it is not as pungent. :)

Annie, I agree. And they're so easy to plant, a fun grandchildren project.

Rosa, I'm afraid you can't post photos here, at least that I know of. You could email me some, though. So you're the solo gardener, so inspiring!

Rosa, I'm happy to hear you have gardens and am sure you have assistant gardeners of all ages!
