What a lovely take on our erstwhile barren landscape. Wasn't expecting a wintry lift but thanks to this depiction, I'm excited! Now if climate change would just allow our winter to play out.
"a woodpecker announcing his flight across the meadow into the woods"...my inner ears immediately recognized the sound you were referring to! Once heard, the piercing screech of the pileated woodpeckers is not easily forgotten!
Just as I feel some days and I love walking with you here. This is why we retired, and yet it seems time moves so quickly. One day I can’t wait for Spring, and the next I think I haven’t been out enough. You captured those lovely days. We get a lot of fog, more this year than ever I think. Thank you
This is true for me, too, that the seasons aren't taking their time as they used to! It's interesting about the fog. I know we've had a lot of rain this year so far, though no snow.
Thanks. Love this!
Amazing. Beautiful thoughts, writing, and pictures. Thank you.
Thank you. It’s the perfect message as I adjust my life.

Margaret, It makes me smile to know this. Thank you.

Deda--What a treasure you are!--words, images thoughts. Keep it up, please.

Gus, as long as the blooms keep coming, I'll try to keep it up! Thank you.
Yes....we need more from Deda!
I need to go outside and appreciate all that Deda has so beautifully shown us. Many thanks, dear Deda.

Yes, Linda, do go outside now that it's warming up and the blooms are coming up by the dozens!

Helen, I'm glad you point this out. I'm thinking right now of the call they make when the blueberries are ripe. They're generous with the berries!

Wow. Beautiful.
Google this poem: Puritan Sonnet.
I found the poem, Kathleen, thank you. If I could change one word, it would be the last, to "Life".
