Wow Deda. So interesting about your parents, and that you have their sketch books.
Moving from California in the 70's by plane, I couldn't afford to bring much.
But when my brother moved out here and rented a Uhaul and brought my mother with him, I did get some things.
Dad loved photography. He took lots of pictures. He loved black and white.
He also had a movie camera and took family pictures, etc. Lots of Christmas etc, with all our aunts, uncles, cousins etc.
Made a lot of slides. Gone through most of them. Some vacations and lots of creative, artful pictures of which I have some, and my kids picked out what they wanted.
I use to race Quarter Midgets when I was young, Glenn too, and have several pictures of that.
A picture is worth a thousand words.
Anyway, fun to see the pictures and remember family history.
Cindy, I love hearing about your journey east, and about your dad's photos. I'm glad your family's enjoying them. What's this about your racing???? Pictures!
Lovvve this. Now I have a glimpse of where you got your beauty and your creativity.
What a regal couple! Your history is so rich in special memories.
Thank you for giving us a peek into your fascinating, beautiful world!
Very cool. I know your dad painted a lot of pieces in Mexico...a very prolific period. Did he make more than one trip there?
Yes, Jim, he did. I hope to share some of his photos and artwork soon.
